We had to say goodbye to our beloved cat, Amadeus, after 17 amazing years together.
Stubborn as hell and fiercely independent, Amadeus blazed his own trail from the very beginning. He did exactly what he wanted, when he wanted—and somehow, that only made him more endearing. Spunky, bold, and full of personality, he had a spark that lit up every room and a presence that was impossible to ignore.
For 17 years, Amadeus was my best friend and constant sidekick. He stood by me through every chapter of adulthood—through joy and heartbreak, chaos and calm. His loyalty was quiet but unwavering, asking for nothing and giving everything. Through every storm, he was there—a steady, comforting soul who made the world feel a little less heavy.
Amadeus brought joy, laughter, and so much love into our lives. Losing him leaves a hole that can never be filled, but we are endlessly grateful for the time we had. Thank you, Amadeus, for choosing me, for loving us, and for being exactly who you were. You were one of a kind—and we were the lucky ones. I will love you forever my sweet boy.
