Callie came into our lives in an interesting way. She was a patient of my daughter’s, who is a vet, and Callie’s initial family needed a new home for her. We all fell in love with her immediately. She helped us transition into retirement and the little putter patter of her toes brought so much joy into our lives. She helped me through sickness and was always making us laugh. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma at 7 years old and only had a few months to live. The time we had with her was short- 3 years- but there was never a dull moment with her and every day we had together was a blessing. |
