I wanted to give you the unconditional love, mercy and compassion that you deserved. I know when we met you were ready to die, but I was not ready for you to die nor die alone. Your death was as gentle as your life with us. Thank you for allowing us to share our lives with you and to give you the best nine months any dog can ever have. Come get me when it’s time.
