Love, Compassion, Loyalty, Faithfulness, Forgiveness and Mercy; all these things are what the Lord shows us. I think that God made dogs to help us practice and learn these virtues. The word "Hesed" a single term that is also translated "chesed" is a Hebrew single term that best unites all these virtues.
The loyalty that God gave to dogs should be the same loyalty that we have for our Lord & Savior. God could have not picked a better creature to teach us these virtues. He knew they would become our companions one day. So grateful for that, God knew also the exact time to allow Lulu to Wander up into my life. That day was a really bad day & I was struggling with a lot of things. That's why I've always said she was heaven sent. She was my best friend for so many years. I will forever be grateful for that day 11-11-13 that she wandered into my life. For almost 13 years she was my baby girl & she will always be like that. I will always miss her with her sassy ways and her diva self. She might have been small, but she had a big ego and personality that her family will never forget. She thought she was big and she knew she was something big to me.
The last two and a half years changed our lives when she became sick but the last four and a half months were so difficult with an intense medication regiment. It altered my whole life, but I wouldn't change it one bit, I was able to have her four and a half months longer. Until God help me realize when it was time to let her have peace and come back to him. Lulu she knew about Jesus.
She would sit while I read out loud my daily devotionals and when I would listen to praise and worship she always showed up in the same room where it was playing even on her worst days, she would make into that room When the day came to send her back to heaven. I told her then not to be afraid and that Jesus will be waiting on her to take her to his kingdom.
I truly believe that all good dogs go to heaven, I think when God went to go name this creature that we love so much. God said let me make this creature’s name mirror image of my own. He knew exactly what he made when he made the Dog.
Thank you God for allowing me to be Lulu's guardian and Mama here on Earth.
You will be truly missed & forever loved
